Rottweilers were originally bred to drive cattle to the market. They were later used to pull butcher carts. One of the first police dogs still serve with honor in the army. The average size of an adult dog is about 56-69 cm, weight 36-60 kg. Life expectancy is on average 8 to 10 years.
