A large dog breed reputedly originating in Dalmatia. The coat is white, with round black or brown spots. Dalmatians have a flat skull, wide between the ears; round sparkling eyes; thin, finely defined ears, pressed close to the head; deep chest; and a spotted tail that tapers towards the end with a slight upward curve. The height of the dog at the withers is 48-58 cm, and the weight is from 16 to 25 kg. This is a good watchdog, hunting dog and a pet.
