Skipper penguins have bright orange-red beaks and unusual white patches above their eyes. They are the third largest penguin species in the world: they weigh 4.5-8.5 kg and are 70-90 cm tall. They are the fastest swimming penguins in the world, reaching speeds of up to 36 km/h. Penguins  carnivores (eat krill, fish and squid). Unlike many other species, skippers raise not one, but two chicks a year. In the wild, they can live up to 15-20 years.
