Product description

The Magellanic penguin, named after the Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan, lives and breeds in the neotropical region along the southern coast of South America. Males weigh 4.7 kg and females 4 kg. Their height ranges from 11.2-16.9 cm. Penguins swim at a speed of almost 25 km / h. Females can lay 2 eggs per season, depending on the abundance of food and the size of the colony. When hunting for food, they always stay in packs. They eat mainly small fish such as anchovies, sardines and sprats. Magellanic penguins live in the wild for an average of 25 to 30 years.

Hansa designers have been observing the features and habits of birds for a long time, which has made it possible to create a realistic copy of the penguin.
