A family of cats. It lives throughout Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, North America, South America. Sizes up to 250 cm in length, not including the tail, which is 90-105 cm. Known for its majesty and nicknamed the "king of the jungle", the lion has both beauty and strength. Lions vary in color but usually have a light yellow-brown coat. Both male and female lions roar, and this roar can be heard from 8 km away.
