A family of cats. The lion is a carnivore that can be found throughout Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, North America and South America. Not counting the tail (90-105 cm), it reaches 250 cm in length. Lionesses are able to mate several times a year. and more than one male. The gestation period is 110 days. The cubs are born blind and open their eyes only a week after birth.
