Family Ursidae. Found in parts of North America, Europe and Asia. Grizzly is the most ferocious and aggressive bear. In females, the first cub appears at the age of 5-7 years. Usually gives birth to 2 babies. Able to breed up to almost 30 years. Eats a huge amount of fish, berries and succulent plants, sometimes consuming 40 kg of food per day. Life expectancy is up to 30 years.

The grizzly bear is an American relative of the European brown bear. In fact, this is not even an independent species, but simply a “name according to the territory of residence”. In reality, these bears are almost no different from their European counterparts.
But the very name "grizzly" hints at a peculiarity of color. It seemed to the first European researchers that the ends of the hairs of the grizzly's hair were grayish, almost gray in color. This is how the nickname "gray or gray-haired" - "grizzly" was assigned to the bear.
But what else the American grizzly has in common with other types of bears is the touching care for offspring. The grizzly bear is a very gentle, affectionate, but also demanding mother.
