Product overview
Product description
Orioles feed on insects and fruit. They usually hide in trees, eat and sing their beautiful whistling notes. They can be dragged off their perches with foods such as orange slices, grape jelly, mealworms, and nectar feeders. When not feeding on nectar, orioles look for caterpillars, fruits, insects, and spiders. Unlike many insect-eating birds, Baltimore Orioles eat spiny or hairy caterpillars, including pests such as autumn spider worms, tent caterpillars, and gypsy moths.
Hansa designers have long observed the characteristics and habits of birds. This made it possible to create a soft toy that is a copy of the Baltimore Oriole bird.
Each Hansa soft toy is unique and special, since all copies are sewn from small parts according to unique most precise patterns, painted by hand with fine detail work colors, proportions and typical poses to give the toy the maximum resemblance to the representative of the animal world.
Toys are handmade by Filipino craftsmen who use high-quality, environmentally friendly, natural fabrics with a high pile. Up to 10 types of faux fur can be combined in one product, which creates "amazing realism" and a special softness that makes toys of collectors of all ages admire.
unique hand-sewn technology allows Filipino craftsmen to create effects such as muscle tone and other features that are inherent in a particular species. It will decorate any interior and become the highlight of the collection.
