The family Daubentoniidae is a mammal belonging to the group of primates. Aye-aye grows to a length of about 40 cm, weighs about 2.5 to 3  kg. Aye-aye has a thick black coat. These primates are mainly nocturnal and feed on tree insects found under the bark.
