Located in the city of Washington (DC, USA), the Capitol is a magnificent example of neoclassical architecture, covering an area of more than 140 thousand square meters, which houses more than 600 rooms and kilometers of corridors. The building we see today is the result of several major phases of construction that began on September 18, 1793, when President George Washington laid the cornerstone. This meticulously detailed LEGO Architecture interpretation of the Capitol features a white columned façade, iconic staircases and lawns. The model includes a removable dome that provides access to the meticulously crafted interior depicting the famous National Sculpture Hall with columns, statues and tiled floors.
