The people of Inox have lived peacefully in the Land of Waterfalls for a long time, but now there is a dangerous threat. The evil Rujis roaming the land want to capture Inox's gems. That's why Inox chose the most inaccessible and dangerous place to hide his gems: the rock wall behind the Ikwazu Falls. Their water dragon Silon blocks the waterfall so that the brave Inox can climb down the rock wall behind him to keep their gems out of harm's way. Gushing water and dangerous water snakes at the bottom will prevent the rocs from getting gems. What player in Ikwaza will be able to skillfully use their cards and place their colored gems in the best places?
Each turn in Ikwaza, players either draw four cards from their hands or play cards of the same color to place one of their gems to an empty space on the board of the same color as the cards they played. If you place in the leftmost column, you will only play one card, the second left column will play two cards, and so on. The last player in turn order adds a drop of water to the topmost empty space in the leftmost column after their turn.
Once the leftmost column is full, players earn points based on the number of gems in that column and receive a bonus token if they have the most gems in the horizontal row. Bonus tokens allow you to draw cards, ignore color rules, earn points at the end of the game, and take another turn. Players then move the waterfall to the right one column so that new power-ups appear and the leftmost gems disappear. The one holding the box of water drops walks past it correctly. Players continue to turn in turns until the last column is filled, after which players collect bonuses for the last time, and then add all the points they have accumulated to their score.
The game consists of:
1 game 4-part board with 5 interchangeable stone strips, 2 dot boards, 2 plastic rails, 45 bonus tiles (35 light backs, 10 dark backs), 1 water frame, 8 water strips, 60 cards, 140 gems (35 in each of 4 colors), 1 gem box, 50 water drops, 1 water box, 1 set of instructions.
